#363: Reset and Recharge: Simple Strategies to Reignite Your Goals and Keep Moving Forward
What do Lego builds and falling off the wagon have in common? They remind us that joy and momentum come from showing up, unplugging, and trying again.
In this Energetic Radio episode, Paul and I delve into the real-life complexities of routines and motivation. We open up about our resets and share tips that take no talent (like showing up with intention).
If you’ve ever felt like your motivation has been hijacked by screen fatigue or endless scrolling, this episode will meet you with just the right nudge to reset.
And maybe… build something out of Lego while you’re at it.

Daily Mission Cards
When was the last time your family gathered around without a screen in sight? Today's mission invites you to do just that.
Find a deck of 52 playing cards and learn a new game. You can try classic card games like Crazy Eights, Go Fish, or Spit, which are fantastic ways to build memory and strategy.
These simple analog activities reintroduce the much-needed connection and shared joy to your dinner table.

The Happiness Alphabet
Ever sat down with your family, hoping for a meaningful connection… and instead got one-word answers?
We get it. It’s hard to compete with fast-paced screens and short attention spans.
The Happiness Alphabet is a no-prep activity that helps children and adults pause, reflect, and connect. Players take turns matching something they’re grateful for with each letter. You’ll be surprised at what they come up with.
“A is for air-conditioning on hot days.”
The power of this game is in its simplicity. It fosters gratitude and makes it more lasting and shareable.

Big Wins at Yarrabah
What an epic afternoon last week with nearly 100 passionate staff at Yarrabah School for their PD day! After a big morning of learning, our session gave everyone permission to let loose, laugh, and walk away with practical, play-based ideas they could use both in the classroom and at home.
The best part? Yarrabah’s leadership team is fully committed to our play-based well-being curriculum for the remainder of the school year, and they’ll be helping us shape our 2026 rollout for special and SDS schools.
Thanks for the warm welcome, and yes… that legendary lunch spread!
