Paper Scissors Rock Cheer Squad

Objective:

It is a fun and energetic group game combining classic paper, scissors, and rock with a unique twist of forming "cheer trains." The goal is to be the last player standing, becoming the "train conductor" with the most followers.

Players:

Suitable for any number of participants, ideal for large groups.

Materials:

No materials are needed, just enough space for players to move around and form trains.

Setup:

Explain the rules of paper, scissors, rock if participants are unfamiliar. Ensure participants have enough room to move freely and form cheer trains.

Gameplay:
  • Challenges: Participants roam around and challenge each other to a game of paper, scissors, rock.
  • Forming Trains: The losing player of each challenge places their hands on the winner's shoulders, following them around like a train carriage.
  • Cheering: The followers (train carriages) chant the name of their leader (the front of the train) as loudly as possible, creating a cheering train.
  • Objective: The game continues until only one player is left without a train behind them, making them the "train conductor."
  • Victory Lap: The winning player, as the "train conductor," leads a celebratory lap around the area with their cheering train following.
Winning the Game:

The last player left without a train behind them is the winner and becomes the "train conductor."

Variations for Different Settings:
  • Children's Edition: Incorporate fun and silly chants or actions for the trains.
  • Corporate Edition: Use this game as a team-building exercise to boost energy and morale.
  • Outdoor Edition: Adapt the game for larger spaces, allowing for more movement and larger trains.

Four Corner Dice

Objective:

A dynamic, team-based game that combines physical activity with answering questions. Teams aim to complete as many laps around four corners of a room as possible within a set time frame, engaging in different movements and responding to various questions at each corner.

Players:

Playable in pairs or small teams, adaptable for groups of any size.

Materials:

  • A six-sided dice for each team.
  • Four game cards with questions and movements, one for each corner of the room.
  • Optional: Equipment for alternative movements (e.g., skipping ropes).
Setup:
  • Place each of the four game cards in a different corner of the room or in a square layout.
  • Distribute a dice to each team.
  • Teams start at any one of the four corners.
Gameplay:
  • Roll and Respond: Teams roll their dice at a corner, with the number rolled corresponding to a question and a movement on the game card.
  • Activity at Corners: Teams take turns answering the question while all members perform the indicated movement.
  • Movement to Next Corner: Teams move clockwise to the next corner after completing the question and movement. This can be running or other movements like skipping, hopping, or crawling.
  • Scoring: Each time a team completes a lap of the four corners, they earn one point.
Winning the Game:

The team with the most points wins at the end of the set time frame.

Gameplay:
  • On the count of three, both players turn around quickly and attempt to step on their partner's toes.
  • The first person to touch the opponent's toes wins the round.
  • Each pair plays three games before switching partners to challenge other class members.

The player who steps on the opponent's toes first wins each round.

Master Chef Group Gratitude

Objective:

To enhance gratitude and appreciation within a group through a creative, Master Chef-inspired activity, using prompts to reflect on the positive impacts of individuals in each other's lives.

Players:

Any group size is suitable for various settings like teams, classrooms, or family gatherings.

Materials:
  • Paper and pens for participants to write their reflections.
Setup:

Distribute paper and pens to all participants.

Gameplay:
  • Participants use ten thought-provoking prompts to reflect on individuals who have positively impacted their lives.
  • Prompts include acknowledging actions or qualities admired, support during challenging times, inspiration and motivation provided, memorable shared experiences, consistent kindness, extraordinary efforts, reliable presence, and contributions to personal growth and happiness.
  • Each participant writes and shares their reflections with the group, fostering a sense of gratitude and community.
Winning the Game:

The focus is on fostering a culture of gratitude and appreciation rather than competition.
