Five questions. One kindergarten room.
We asked the educator team what changed. Here's what they noticed, in their own words.
Steadier, more willing to try
Children are steadily developing their confidence through the School of Play activities, especially when they need to be creative or use their imagination. They're becoming more confident with communication too, sharing ideas and asking questions with peers and educators.
“When I Grow Up”
During the “When I Grow Up” activity, one child confidently shared his drawing with his educator, then explained the different parts of it to the peers around him. It prompted other children to ask questions and listen to each other's ideas.
More independence, more sharing
The curriculum has encouraged meaningful interactions, with individuals showing greater confidence and independence. Children clearly enjoy working with their peers and sharing with one another.
Easy to follow, easy to run
Educators value how easy the curriculum is to follow and how convenient the website is for downloading resources. They also value the flexibility of the activities, letting children lead their own learning while the curriculum still encourages intentional teaching.
